Altogether I think you will agree that .5 mm. is the right compromise from many points of view, and particularly as it brings us into line with what the Exide are actually doing, though I do not suggest that this is any special reason for doing it. We would, as you know, ask the Exide to change their if matters were the other way round, only it appears that they have the suitable compromise already.

I realise there are many difficulties in this, but there is no harm in asking you what the position would be in the matter.

With regard to ribbing both sides of the wood separators, I think we are all in agreement that this should be done.
