PISTONS AND CON.RODS.

With reference to R2/M12.7.24, in which it is mentioned that there is another E.A.C. engine in Derby having the original short length of rods, which runs equally smoothly with 46-PK, we shall be glad of an opportunity of trying this before it is definitely decided to adopt it.

We were struck with the smooth running of 46-PK at speeds above 25 miles an hour, but of course, owing to the ignition and carburation not having been finished, it ran unevenly at lower speeds and therefore was unsuitable for use in traffic.
