X1487. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/KT. Sept. 12th, 1932. The S.U. Carburetter Co. Ltd, East Works, Bordesley Green Road, Adderley Park, Birmingham. For the attention of Mr. Skinner. Dear Sirs, Mr. Elliott has now almost completed the designs of the carburetter for the supercharged car and would like your opinion before it is detailed for manufacture. We should therefore be very glad if you could get over on Thursday or Friday of this week, to go over the various points with us. I have had a letter from the Electric Heating & Hardware Ltd, of Birmingham, signed by a gentleman who's name I cannot read, who states that he has got remarkably good results by serrating the plain needle of your carburetter. It is rather difficult to believe his claim, and would like your opinion if there is anything in the alteration. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
