re: LARGE CAPACITY OIL PUMPS

(BENTLEY 4 1/4 Litre CHASSIS)
-------------------------

With reference to your memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/AP.11.12.36 advising that larger oil pumps should be fitted to all 4 1/4 litre chassis. We, for your information, attach a list showing the chassis number and owner of 4 1/4 litre chassis in France needing the larger pumps.

To D/BPs: We attach our order number N°. 1239 for 31 large capacity oil pumps complete with oil pipes and drive. We naturally expect to have to wait some little time before our order can be completed.

We would however, suggest that the new pumps are sent in batches of 5 and we will arrange to fit them to cars commencing with those that have covered the most mileage.

We take it that you will arrange to have new pumps fitted to cars that are permanently in Belgium etc...
