1938.

Dear Mr. Robotham,

I have an idea of coming up to Donington on Thursday, September 29th. to see something of the practising for the Grand Prix, in which, as you are no doubt aware, the Mercedes, Auto-Unions, and possibly some of the French Grand Prix cars will be competing.

I was wondering whether I could coincide this with a visit to your Works either on Thursday or Friday the following day.

Possibly too you might like to slip over to Donington at the same time, and if you are interested I would obtain the necessary passes from Phillips of the R.A.C.

Neville Rollason also was thinking of doing the same thing, and if this arrangement would be agreeable to you might I suggest that you gave him a ring.

Awaiting your news and with kindest regards.

Yours sincerely,

(Cecil Kimber)
