SQUEAKING OF THICK LEAF SPRINGS.

We have carried out our test far enough on two cars to be able to say that forming a radius on the edges of the leaves is not a permanent cure for the squeaking. We have two samples of springs treated in this way on which we have squeaks occurring. Our impression at the moment, however, is that it makes a certain improvement. Our tests have not gone sufficiently far for us to be able to state what degree of improvement, if any.
