C O P Y of letter from The Lodge Sparking Plug Co. Ltd., RUGBY. February 3rd 1914. Order No. AG902. Dear Sirs, We are in receipt of your esteemed Order No. AG902 for which we beg to thank you, and confirming our telephone conversation with you this morning we are supplying these plugs fitted with our 2 point gap, as from experiments we have made we find that this type of gap gives better results with slow running than the 3 point gap, as fitted to the samples we previously submitted to you. At the same time we should like to say that we can supply all our plugs fitted with the 2 point or 3 point gap, whichever you may prefer. With regard to the Model "M" Plugs. Those which we are sending to you to the above order will be fitted with our new type of steel spigot which is very much stronger than the brass spigot we previously supplied and which entirely over-comes the trouble of the terminal working loose in the plug. We trust that you will find these plugs entirely satisfactory and hope that we may be favoured with your future esteemed orders. Assuring you of our best attention at all times. Yours faithfully, The Lodge Sparking Plug Co. Ld. X601 | ||
