X4543 Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY4-P7.2.23. RECEIVED 7 FEB 1923 GOSHAWK 11. CONTINUOUS GEARS. I wish to confirm that it is most important that we settle up definitely by Monday morning next whether we continue the balance of the 500 Goshawks in hand along lines which would fit them with spiral continuous gears, or whether, on the other hand, we fit ground continuous gears. You might keep this note before you in your typists hands, so that she will bring the matter to your notice on Monday, when you expect I believe, to receive back a car which is fitted with continuous gears and is reported to be noisy. We could probably, upon receipt of the car, come to a definite conclusion one way or the other. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
