Bentley - Centrally Mounted Radiator, Lamps, Wings, etc.

Herewith is N.Sch.4542 shewing a revised cross-member for carrying the engine, radiator, wings, etc.

The crossmember is a tubular one of the type now standard and the fixing to the frame is the present standard piece. The engine suspension follows the revised SpectreCodename for Phantom III. The bearer arms are unaltered, except in length.

As the use of the narrow radiator matrix gives us more room than when the original scheme was done we have taken the opportunity to revise the stiffening of the radiator yoke piece at the rear, giving it cross stays on the lines of those at the front.

The engine tie hasalso required a new place finding for it.

N.Sch.4542 herewith.
