Messrs. George Angus & Co. Ltd.,
(Oil Seal Dept.)
7, Bury Street,
LONDON, E.C.3.

Dear Sirs,

We wired you this morning "Please send three Gaco seals 2½" x 1¼" x ½"."

These are wanted urgently because an Angus leather seal now running on a dynamometer has failed and we are expecting to have to shut down to replace it.

The temperature of the gearbox on which it is employed is 130°C and we understand that the Gaco seal is more likely to stand up to this temperature than a leather seal.

We are having an official order sent to you for these three seals.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
