c. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/WD{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} 666 9th. March 1939. BY.5/G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Messrs. Park Ward & Co. Ltd., 473, High Road, Willesden, LONDON. N.W.10. For the attention of Mr. Ward. Dear Sirs, RE: CHASSIS 30-G-Vll. We confirm that during the visit of our Messrs. Evernden and Draper on Tuesday the 7th March, the dashboard on 30.G.Vll was found to be approximately .500 too far back. It was agreed that you should cut and stretch the bonnet to suit. The jack reserve tank fouled the windscreen wiper motor, it was decided to pack the tank forward about .375" to clear. We find that you still require lamp sockets for the front head lamps, a rear bumper and an A.C. heater for the rear compartment, and a Rolls-Royce type heater and defroster on the dashboard. These accessories will be sent as soon as available. We have decided not to fit a radio set to 30.G.Vll. It will therefore not be necessary to allow for the controls in the rear seat arm rest. You have not yet received the correct front wing stays for the above chassis. We hope to send them in the course of a few days. The rear bumper extensions for 30.G.Vll were found to be too short for the tail overhang. We hope to send you longer ones in a few days. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
