failing to hold the high pressure of the explosive gases. In all tests made I have never been able to improve this vibration without reducing the power. In demonstrating to Mr.Royce he pointed out O.g. we cannot expect to get the power without "feeling" it, and I understand he has considered a cure from another point of view, i.e. isolation of the engine from the frame, etc. The low speed jet was cut down rather weak, and the suitable position of the mixture lever so as to give all round good running with covering ground, was too weak, thus one had occasion to throttle down the engine, and unless the mixture was set strong the engine was certain: unpleasant to drive slowly.
