Stanmore,
MIDDLESEX.

For the attention of A.E. Palmer Esq.,

Dear Sirs,

We are pleased to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 23rd. and beg to apologise for the error at our end regarding the 20 byepass jets.

The jets were changed and the originals returned to your goodselves.

The order you have received is therefore cancelled by your kind offer of exchange.

May we call your attention to two DC.42, 30 H.P. carburetters Nos.1462 and 0661 that were returned for Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}467 modification. These carburetters were turned down by the test section of the repair dept. here, being too strong.

We examined them and found that wrong idle jets were fitted i.e. 68 fuel and 75 air bleed.

These were corrected by fitting 70 fuel and 60 air bleed.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
