has been agreed by all concerned that it is the
best form of procedure, we recommend that the S.S.
should be completed forthwith. Sales agitated very
strongly for this from an appearance point of view.

24.9.37. Water Thermometer P.III.

This thermometer has been submitted to Sales for
inspection and passed. We do not therefore see why
the standardisation sheet should not be completed.

18.6.37. Revised Position of Junction Box. P.III.

This is waiting for the modification to the P.III
downtake pipes. A sheet was issued on 25.6.37.
which is still up to G/Rb.{R. Bowen}

25.6.37. Exhaust System Downtake Pipes. P.III.

Since this date has been waiting for costs
from G/Rb.{R. Bowen} As these downtake pipes represent a
saving of about £3 per car, we consider that an
effort should be made to get them on production
quickly.

31.8.37. Cantilever Pedals. BENTLEY.

We are not going further with this sheet. It can
be withdrawn.

10.9.37. Gearbox parts in S/ZNCR with soft splines. P.III.

This sheet has been held up by Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} It now
does not matter whether it is completed or not, as
it cannot come on production before the overdrive
box which has soft splines.

29.6.37. S.U. High Pressure Petrol Pumps in the Frame. P.III.

This sheet is still up to G/Rb.{R. Bowen} though cars for some
weeks have been leaving the Factory fitted with
such pumps. We do not see why it should be possible
for a vital improvement like this to have to wait
two months before a sheet can be circulated owing to
cost investigations. As the customers are getting
the benefit of these high pressure pumps it seems
immaterial whether the sheet proceeds or not. / Returned from RB{R. Bowen} 9.10.37

9.6.37. Superflexit Petrol Pipe. BENTLEY.
