Proposed modification to a Zenith petrol filter to improve air release.

| Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn{Mr Robinson}/T26.1.27. ZENITH PETROL FILTER. We find that the air release provided on this filter does not allow the air to escape very satisfactorily when the filter is filled up after being cleaned. We have therefore made a modification of 6 slots as indicated on the attached sketch, by means of which the air is able to pass out of the release provided.
