| To. RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/MN. We have today received the complete set of brake shoes, & brake drum screws, & have fitted them. We are returning the old brake shoes marked as requested. Together with the Metalastik dynamo coupling as asked for by RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/SWDL.{Len H. Swindell} Regarding the servo travel, when the levers were six notches & the fronts three notches out of adjustment we had very little front braking, not even enough to warm the drums, but at all times the total amount of braking was such as to stop the car within three times the normal distance. The servo was very much out of adjustment, in fact, only just having tension on the spring plate it required two & a half turns of the nut to return it to normal.
