Herewith list of comparative weights of front seats, as requested.

Regarding the new Rolls-Royce tubular seat, this is approximately 4 lbs. heavier than the Vauxhall 10, which is partly accounted for by the type of sliding fittings used.

In the Vauxhall the tubular frame is used as part of the sliding fittings, whereas on the Rolls-Royce seat Leveroll fittings are used. Also a sheet steel valance has been used which, should we be going into production, will be replaced by plywood. We are also hoping to use a lighter gauge of steel tubing for the seat frame. This should enable us to reduce the weight by at least 2 lbs.
