4676 To BJ: from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG17:8.25! ROAD TESTS ON HIGH SPEED STEERING WOBBLES. X457 It was agreed that we should ensure the drivers carrying out the 10,000 miles tests in France because they were expected to drive the cars at very high speeds. Testing cars in connection with high speed steering wobbles is far more dangerous. We recommend that similar insurance policy should be taken out for the testers working on high speed steering wobbles as we have for the men in France. We also think that in the event of a driver being summoned by the police for furious driving, the Firm should pay the fine. We are doing all we possibly can to avoid taking unnecessary risks. Please let us know whether you agree. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
