Dear Sirs, In reply to yours of the 24th inst., EFC/AD, re cell lids, we note what you say and what the Chloride Co. say. There are probably a good many arguments for each type of design but we think it is a very good idea to test each, as you will be doing, and see for yourselves if there is any superiority, one over the other. We should be interested to hear the results of your tests because we ourselves have tried to make similar tests. With regard to the design of the top edge of the plate, we are submitting your remarks to our Works and will let you have their comments in due course.
