The failure of rear springs on a Goshawk 11 car after 14,700 miles in France.

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LG14.9.22. GOSHAWK 11. REAR SPRINGS. X4261 During the running of 7-Goshawk-11 car in France the top plates on both rear springs have broken after 14,700 miles. The failures occurred on the rear portion of the springs which does not act as a radius rod. The springs were similar to the present standard Woodhead we are using.
