WAR CONDITIONS In the present state of National Emergency we feel that it may be helpful to you if we say it is our intention, notwithstanding the difficulties of the position, to supply the requirements of our customers for The Chatwood Products so long as circumstances permit. We shall endeavour to maintain prices, but as conditions may make increases inevitable orders can only be accepted on the understanding that prices are subject to increase for advances in cost of labour, materials and transport rates. Acceptance and execution of orders are necessarily subject to labour and materials being available, in view of the increasingly stringent control of both by the Government, including the Iron and Steel Control Scheme. We shall continue to do all we can to help with regard to delivery, though it is not possible to give definite assurances, and orders will be executed with a minimum of delay.
