Messrs Rolls Royce Ltd., Derby. Dear Sirs, FOR THE ATTENTION OF MR. HIVES. With reference to the Open Touring Bodies which your Conduit Street Showrooms have ordered, to be completed in the rough, varnish grey paint, ready for fitting to 20.HP. Rolls Royce 'raked' steering chassis, in order to complete the front wings, we require two sets of wing stays; if you would kindly supply these, it would greatly simplify matters in fitting the wings at Derby. With regard to the rear wings, we propose completing the stays as far as possible and setting them approximate to shape, but it will be understood that in finally fitting these up to the car, that the wings will require some further fitting. Yours faithfully, WINDOVERS LTD. | ||
