S/W. Wst. 6066 Delco-Remy Electric Horns. Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}7/KW19.3.37. Reference Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst6/AP15.3.37, may I take it that these are a different pair of horns from the ones it was agreed recently should be sent to Hancock in France and which were despatched from London to him ? You say that these horns weigh less than the Lucas Mellowtone and take less current, but are not arranged for loud and soft tone as on the Lucas. As a matter of fact the pair of horns which I used, and which were to be sent to Hancock, were arranged with loud and soft notes, but after their despatch the attached fitting was discovered at LH{Mr Haworth}, which was part of the horn equipment when on my car. As I am not sure on what you are basing the suggestion that the Delco Remy horns do not operate on loud and soft, I do not know whether it is because this fitting was omitted from those sent to Hancock, and without it probably only one note can be obtained. The fact remains, however, that these horns can be made to give a loud and soft note, and no doubt you will arrange for Hancock to have the necessary parts for that to be done if he has not already got them.
