Messrs.Park Ward & Co.Ltd., 473, High Road, Willesden London N.W.10. Dear Sirs, Re: 30.G.VI. Wraith 80. We wish you to build a body for a special Wraith chassis, which will be made from the B.50 by adding 3.000 into the frame of the latter at the centre line of the frame cross. This chassis will be called Wraith 80 type. The following other changes will be made to the B.50 chassis to produce this 30.G.VI. (1) Steering rocked up - see PD.285. (2) R.R. Radiator and Bonnet - see PD.285, and PD.233. (3) Modified front pan to frame to receive the more forward radiator - see FW.1789. With the above knowledge and the drawings enclosed we believe you will be in a position to go ahead with the full-size drawing of the body and chassis, based on our design PD.298. The shape of the front wings as drawn is important as it is intended to mask the forward position of the radiator. Continued..... | ||
