Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 17th inst. together with a print showing your suggested modification to the Hydrolift pump body to avoid valve seating trouble; which might be due to the presence of foreign matter in the valve channels.

We think it would be better to discuss this matter after further thought and the writer will, in all probability, be in Derby on Wednesday or Thursday next when he will bring with him our own suggestions concerning this problem - if they offer any improvement on your ideas.

Assuring you of our close co-operation at all times,

We are,

Yours faithfully,
For SMITH'S JACKING SYSTEMS LIMITED.

Donald Session
Director & General Manager.
