41487 HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Bwg.{J. C. Bowring}10/KW. Exptl. Dept. 27th March, 1935. C.S. Skinner Esq., The S.U. Company Ltd., East Works, Adderley Park, Birmingham 8. Dear Mr. Skinner, We are enclosing another example of a roughly cut carburetter needle seating as received from our Test Dept. This gave trouble on the road, and whilst it could not be reproduced, we are almost certain that the failure was caused through the burrs on the seating. Will you kindly send us half a dozen seatings and needles to replace those so far removed. We should also like to have a few spare jet cork glands by us, as trouble of slight leakage is sometimes experienced by production. Kind regards, Yours sincerely, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
