X. 8250 To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}2/M17.7.25. 'W' SERIES RADIATOR. We have discussed the radiator with Mr. Royce this afternoon and he agrees to the use on 'W' series of a radiator with separate shutters exactly the same as 'V' series except the height raised 1". We understood from you on the 'phone yesterday that this got you out of your immediate difficulties, so that we hope you can now go ahead. We believe Mr. Royce has written to you elsewhere. In the meanwhile we are proceeding to the design of a parallel sided 1" higher radiator with integral shutters to be brought in as convenient.
