6026. To Order Office. c. to RC{R. Childs}/CAP. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs}6/JH.1.9.38. SMITH ELECTRIC CLOCKS. We have received two standard type Smith electrical clocks, which have been removed from experimental cars on account of stopping. Of these, one No.E.1295/41618 was found to have the fuse rubbers, and the mechanism so out of order that it would not wind up. The other, No.E.1549/50627 also had the fuse melted, but in this case the winding operation was continuous, and would not stop. Will you please arrange for the return of these instruments, for the makers examination and repair. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs} | ||
