25/30 HP. & Bentley Dynamo Drive.

~~X500
with reference to E.4/HP.9.1.36.

We note the reasons for fitting this dynamo drive to the Bentley. The fact remains that this dynamo drive has not run under Bentley conditions. Furthermore, the standard drive did not give rise to a noisy dynamo or inefficient cooling.

The big bore Bentleys will be on test on February 1st. The big bore 20/25 will not start its 15,000 miles test until after this date. Briefly, therefore, though there may be reasons which make it very difficult to revert to the drive which ran on B-56-BN{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} at the present moment, we feel it necessary to point out that we should not be in a position to issue a Standardisation Sheet for the Ph.III drive until after large bore Bentley cars have left the factory.
