AUTOVAC WITH IMPROVED ELBOW AND MODIFIED SUCTION VALVE.

I have found out from the Autovac Company that it will take them five weeks from the time we decide to order the above modified parts, before they can be incorporated on any orders we have in hand.

I would like to know whether you are seriously thinking of standardizing the above modification, and if so, when, as immediately there is a move to standardize the proposal, I would get in touch with the Autovac Company and instruct them to modify the parts straight away.

We would of course very much prefer to use a pump to keep the Autovac supplied, rather than suction from the induction system. This of course will cut out the trouble for which the special valve and elbow was arranged, and as you point out, may be a very much better job all round.

I do not know whether there is any possibility in the near future of getting this latter proposal in.
