Dear Sirs,

We have to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 2nd instant and thank you for the additional information contained therein relative to proposed sample clutch cushion disc for your Phantom chassis. In this regard we would confirm our telephone conversation of Thursday last wherein we advised that whilst we have designed a cushion disc which we think would be satisfactory on your application there are several manufacturing difficulties as explained during our conversation.

We shall look forward to hearing further from you in due course after you have had time to consider our suggestions.

In the meantime, we are pleased to note your concluding remarks that the sample 10" clutches continue to perform satisfactorily on test and we shall naturally be very pleased to have your remarks relative to same in due course.

Yours faithfully,
BORG & BECK COMPANY LIMITED.
