MAGNETOS

Would you kindly advise if tests with the "Watford" Sleeveless Type Magnetos Nos. 99171 and 99802 submitted on the 3rd and 26th ultimo respectively have now proceeded sufficiently far to warrant advising Messrs. North that they may go ahead with the Tools, but not bulk manufacture until our tests are actually complete.

I raise the question as, when we can substitute this F.W.6 Magneto for our present standard M.O.6, we shall effect a purchase economy of approximately £40. 0. 0d per week - quite apart from the big economy we shall probably effect in the Road Test Department, where they will probably be saved the big expense of putting up and taking down Magnetos.

We are returning to-day a further 23 M.O.6 Magnetos rejected by Road Test on various grounds, chiefly noise and seized camboxes.

ROY. {Mr H. Royce - Buyer}
