Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/DB.{Donald Bastow - Suspensions} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Myth 1030 746 Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}11/ML.28.1.41. With reference to the Tempered Spring Co's letter attached. I think we can argue about how to make these springs for a long time without getting much further. If they will make us some front springs for the Myth at all, we shall have to accept whatever they are prepared to give us. After the war, we can test their commercial springs against our refined article. I can quite understand the bright drawn spring being subject to failure since it will not have a really good surface finish and will be more liable to corrosion than the black rolled type.
