Dear Sir,

We wish to acknowledge yours of the 28th. ult.on the question of tyre life with small diameter rims.

We understand you wish to carry out tests with 6" tyres on 19" diameter rims for your 20 H.P. Car.

As requested, we give the effective radius of 6" tyres, fitted to 19" rims, in comparison with the same section fitted to 21" rims.

31 x 6.00 for 19" rims. 14.75 Effective Radius.

33 x 6.00 for 21" " 15.75 " "

With regard to the supply of tyres. We are afraid we shall not be in a position to supply you with the sizes you require until approximately the end of this month.

In the meantime, our Coventry House are communicating with you on the wheel question, particularly dealing with Artillery Steel Wheels. With regard to wire wheels, which we propose supplying for your test. These should be available during the next two weeks.
