(e) CURVE OF BACK PANEL.

Messrs Park Ward & Co. have modified their drawing giving a back panel of the same curvature as on the latest 25 HP. stock saloons.

(f) STEERING COLUMN & WHEEL POSITIONS.

It has been agreed that one column angle with its adjustments will cover all types of coachwork. See separate memo.

(g) EXHAUST FISHTAIL.

On the car seen by Sales this was 1.300" further back relative to the rear crossmember than on the 25 HP. Derby have been instructed to move it forward.

(h) CONTROLS ON THE STEERING COLUMN.

The complaint that the throttle control was operated when the driver went to dip the headlamps must have occurred on the first car on which the dipper stroke was too great. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} is making slight modifications to the finger grips with a view to reducing their heavy appearance. The writer thought that the dipper control worked too stiffly.

The apparent size of the whole of the wheel centre and controls is being reduced and a sample set will be shewn to Sales at an early date.

EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}
