Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd.,
DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

Further to your letter of January 23rd, 1931, we should be pleased to learn whether you are yet in a position to give us a final report on the 'DURON' Brake Linings which your Experimental Department were testing. If you have lost trace of these tests, we should be pleased to send a further set for test purposes.

We may say that 'DURON' brake linings are fitted as standard by such firms as The Alvis Car & Engineering Co. Ltd., Lagonda Ltd., Riley (Coventry) Ltd., also by Albion Motor Co. Ltd., Fodens Ltd., The Sentinel Waggon Works Ltd., Karrier Motors Ltd., The Maudslay Motor Co. Ltd., etc.

Further, 'DURON' Brake Linings were fitted to the brakes and clutch on Sir Malcolm Campbell's "Blue Bird" for the recent World speed record. We enclose a copy of a letter received from Sir Malcolm Campbell regarding this.

Yours faithfully,
for BRAKE LININGS LIMITED.
