ORIGINAL TO-BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} FROM E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} E1/M8.1.23. c. to CJ. HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} With reference to your BY5/P6123, for- warding scheme 457 in reply to Mr. Royce's criticism of the 16th of last month, we send you herewith Lec 1668 shewing how the magneto coupling should be arranged. Oil holes for the oil to reach the coupling proper are made as shewn through the centralmember, as it is not thought that without some way through the oil will be able to work by the spherical joint. The spring pressure should be reduced to the minimum that will create the necessary friction. RECEIVED 9 MAR 1938 H8 | ||
