129-GN. London Trials.

You will remember this car was the subject of much experiment in view of the roughness in picking-up, and that the work succeeded in improving the roughness and consequent body-boom considerably, enabling me to put it in commission.

There is no doubt in my opinion that there is a falling from virtue in this car in the sense that the booms are worse, and I consider the roughness has, to some extent, returned.

I think it is open to argument as to whether the original improvement was in fact due to modified scuttle isolation scheme with hard rubbers.

It is open to doubt that this method which has the effect practically of tightening everything chock-a-block can be allround satisfactory, or account for the improvement in the car referred to.
