To EFC. from R.{Sir Henry Royce} Copy to CJ. BN.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} ORIGINAL RE LOW TENSION WIRES. R3/G6/10/19. x 2778 (3) With reference to the low tension wiring, we want if [handwritten: possible,] to do away with the armouring, but as this appears to be necessary in the case of the wires leading to the lamps, it may be desirable that the whole length of the lamp wires shall be armoured. The rest of the wires will, we suppose, be coated with rubber and braided with cotten and compound served. Mr. Elliott has already written to you on the question of colours of wire.
