COMPLAINT - BRAKES INEFFICIENT.
BENTLEY & 25/30 H.P.

We have achieved a considerable improvement in cases of the above by changing the levers on the offside (pedal side) of the servo countershaft. The merits of the scheme are -

(1) The new levers are inexpensive to fit and inexpensive to buy.
(2) The servo need not be touched, nor the brake drums removed.
(3) The effect is permanent.
(4) No alteration of braking proportion front and rear results from the change.

The levers we change are as follows -

20/25 H.P. 25/30 H.P.
Remove G.57128.
Fit GB.821.

BENTLEY.
Remove G.52049.
Fit G.57128.

We recommend that you try this out, and if you like the result then standardise the procedure.

You will notice that the levers removed from the 20/25 H.P. are fitted to the Bentley.

It would be quite possible to take the levers removed from the Bentley and fit them to the servo side of the 20/25, thus making the whole process self supporting, only we have no cars to try this out on.

We find it best to take up the floor boards in making the change.
