Dear Sir,

Mr. Manning received your letter this morning but had to leave the office early to attend Sir Harcourt Butler's funeral.

He has phoned from Town to say he will be travelling up by road on Wednesday, together with Messrs. McIntosh and Roberts, and they hope to arrive about 11 a.m.

Mr. Manning desires to thank you for your very kind offer of accommodation overnight, which he is unable to accept this time as he has to be in London tomorrow evening for a telephone call from Detroit.

Yours very truly,
BRIGGS MOTOR BODIES LTD.

Janet Green
Secretary to Mr. Manning.
