N766 To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from CJ. Overheating. CJ4/E12/9/24 What was generally the temperature of the air during the Austrian Trials when our cars lost no water? Did the water boil often? Would not the affixing of the tube above the water filler of the radiator reduce the annoyance and the loss of wa{Mr Wallis}/ter? If so, might it not be included in the equipment of the car so that it could be substituted for the mascot when the car is being used under circumstances which are likely to cause the water to boil?
