E.V. Blk.} Please note. This is agreed. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Ve. c. to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Original letter... Ve.5/CB.26.8.40. 3 R.R. 40 mm. NAVAL GUN & MOUNTING. We are at present looking upon the gun and mounting as one unit, but I think we should henceforth regard them as two separate units, i.e. guns and mountings and that this should apply to projects, design, estimating, manufacture, etc. This will enable us, at a later date, to build up different combinations of guns and mountings as required by customers, the case being analogous to chassis and body on car work. If you concur, I will issue the necessary instructions. Ve. | ||
