contd :- -2- We have a number of experiments running with altered king pin angles and pivots with horizontal trail, but so far have found nothing that is so effective as simply lengthening the existing stub axles by .5". Tests with one front brake only in action and 1.75" out of centre point indicate that such a situation will not be dangerous. We have both lowered the steering ratio and reduced the front braking besides fitting axle control in the last two years, all of which alterations help us in this connection.
