Payment of an invoice for Castrol motor oil from C.C. Wakefield & Co. Ltd.

We have an invoice from C.C.Wakefield & Co.Ltd., dated 16th ulto., on which we are charged 10d per gallon, plus 1d per gallon Duty for one Steel Drum containing 41.8/9ths gallons of Patent Castrol "XL" Motor Oil, which was sent direct to Mr.Hancock in France.

They do not appear to have had an official order for this Oil and upon our asking for details to enable us to trace, they reply as per copy letter attached.

If you agree the invoice may be paid, will you please give Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} the necessary instructions to have an order issued.
