Dear Neville,

Thank you for your letter of the 11th.
Replying to your queries :-

1. The motor is a 4¼ litre, 6-cylinder engine, similar in basic design to the one you have at present, but with considerably enhanced durability.

2. The bodies are by Park Ward.

3. The price is the normal list price of a Bentley V.{VIENNA} plus Purchase Tax. This comes to about £2,050 all in.

4. The Experimental Department are looking after the few cars in customers' hands.

5. I shall be pleased to let you try one if you can give me a little notice of when you want it.

The problem at the moment is that all these new Bentleys which have been finished, are placed, and the prospects of getting any more completed under present conditions, are not rosy. However, if you decide that you really want one, even at the price, we shall have to see what can be done.

I expect to bring a new Mark V.{VIENNA} type Bentley over to dinner within the next few weeks.

Yours sincerely,
