RE CAR FOR 10,000 MILE TEST. 2 EX With reference to the car to be prepared to run the 10,000 mile test. We are, on your instructions, preparing a chassis. It means building up a new chassis but there should not be much delay because the various units are being prepared. The following is a list of parts which we suggest should be fitted to this car to run 10,000 miles. It may, of course, happen that some of these parts will delay the test and for that reason may have to be left over until another such test. Parts to be fitted. | Position of Expl: Parts. 1. R.R. Wiring scheme complete with switches and distributor box. | Drawings will be completed early next week. At present only one model switch is being instructed. 2. Battery fitted in frame. | Drawings will be completed in 10 days. 3. Rear Shock Absorbers (modified). | Drawings will be completed today. 4. New Air Pump. | Finished. 5. Thermostat Control for Water Temperature. | No design yet. 6. Michelin Disc Wheels. | Finished in 7 days. 7. Smith Dynamo. | We expect Smiths' to be able to deliver. Contd. | ||
