SILENCER FOR PHANTOM.

We find that the silencer with the concentric tube made to the LeC. design, does not silence the exhaust so effectively as the experimental ones which are running.

The drop in horse power is less than on the experimental silencers.

As the object of the modification is to obtain a degree of silence, we have added a further baffle to the LeC. silencer. We consider now, the silencer is very nearly equal to the original experimental ones and we are obtaining comparative figures for the drop in H.P.
