Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. Leslie.

We thank you for your letter of July 26th.

We have now received the two sets of parts for making up the carburetter mixture controls, and are arranging to assemble these immediately.

The writer very much regrets that he appears to have lost the notes he made on the temperatures required. From memory it was arranged that the thermostat should move the jet to the fully weak position at 60°C.

We are not quite sure at what temperature you wished the weakening process to commence. Would you be good enough to let us have this information? With apologies for troubling you.

By-Pass Thermostats.

We enclose Drawing No. BGA. 1862 showing the double bellows type thermostat which the writer mentioned to you. We are also sending you a sample thermostat for your examination.
