X.2593 - RE R.R.C.H. VARIABLE JETS. Please find attached drawing No.LeC. 730 showing two jets for the R.R.C.H. carburetter, one suitable for the 16 threads per inch raising gear, and the other suitable for the 8 threads per inch raising gear. They have been drawn on the assumption that the strength of the mixture will vary directly as the cross sectional area of the orifices, since we find that the experimental result demonstrates this on the old jet. It is quite possible that you have made some grooves with a taper suitable for giving a 20% mixture range, in which case of course, it would be interesting to us if you would say what the final taper proves to be for our future guidance. | ||
